Those with a good memory might recall that I posted a photo of my younger son, Adam, with a golf trophy he won about a year ago. Last Wednesday, having reached the final for the same competition again, he successfully defended his 'title'. Somewhat inconveniently, however, soon after he returned to the clubhouse, Adam suffered from what his friends described as a 'nasty turn' (he had collapsed with severe chest pains).

Someone had the good sense (of humour) to present him with the trophy in the ambulance with all sorts of stuff attatched to his chest (covered by something which makes him look like the Michelin Man) before being rushed off to the hospital - where he was kept overnight for tests. Mercifully, although he will have to return for further tests over the next few days, he was allowed home on the following day.
