My name's Brian Cole; and that isn't a dog-collar. I'm an ancient, but modern, former nuclear test veteran, driving instructor and taxi proprietor, golf club administrator, publican, and bus station manager. This web-site was originally created for ex-pat, ex-military, pals who liked me to remind them of places they had known and loved by taking photographs whilst I drove around the UK as part-time roadie for my son; or delivering PSV vehicles (now edited and condensed into a separate blog). Eventually, conscious of how I would have liked to know more about my own parent's lives (but didn't ask), I have added other features which might be of interest to my own family (some day). However, much of the content, such as the Trans-USA and the Patagonia and Peru journals and, to some extent, the Model Auto-biography are quite detailed accounts of life and travel experiences. Most of the rest consists of photograph-albums and blogs about issues which have caught my attention over the years...............
