Nature gets her own back (click on photo to enlarge).

Miscellaneous 04/17/2009

As I discovered, yesterday, it isn't just nature which provides a photo opportunity. To many (including me), this little Frazer Nash sports car is a thing of considerable beauty.

That Eurolush has a lot to answer for.

As a gesture to provide an element of blogaphoto coverage during her recent absence, I had taken my camera with me when I went for walks. I had supposed that her return would curb the urge to continue looking for suitable scenes. Unfortunately, however, I  don't seem to be able to stop myself casting an artistic eye in almost every direction when I'm out and about.

Here, for instance, is an ideal subject for a budding photographer......

Models 04/07/2009

I've just completed another, fairly substantial, update to my MODEL LIFE project.

Weebly, my web-site provider, have up-graded their system and, as might be obvious from my recent efforts, I don't seem to have worked out how to 'size' my photos. Let's see if the photos from today's walk (past the local cricket ground) are any more successful.....

Well, I've worked out how to post two photos and I've discovered that 'multiple' photos (two, or more, across the page) can be enlarged by clicking on the photo. Having worked all that out, I don't need to worry any more because Eurolush has resumed her photographic duties: so, I can stand down. By the way, for those interested in these sort of things, the tree at the forefront of the left-hand photo is the tallest tree in the distance in the right-hand photo

Continuing with my photographic duties, here are some more taken during today's walk......

Retirement 04/02/2009

In today's Telegraph there was an article about The Prodigy group
which reminded me that I had quite a lot of rubbish which needed burning. So, I became a fire starter.

Some three or four months after retiring, I'm beginning to feel the effects of doing SFA for much of the day and, since I'm only a fair-weather golfer, I haven't been getting much exercise, lately. So, for the past couple of days,
I've taken to having a leisurely walk when the mood hits me. For the time being, I've confined myself to keeping within half a mile of where I live and I've devised a rather pleasant, circular, route which involves gentle gradients and as little tarmacadamed surfaces as possible.

Today, I happened to be wearing the jacket I had worn during the recent reunion with my Christmas Island friends and, inside one of the pockets was a small camera. So, since Eurolush seems to be having a break from her photographic duties, I've taken a couple of piccies for your delectation (as the guy from the old-time music hall TV show in the UK used to say).
